DIY Birthday Cakes Thanks To Betty Crocker!

I was SO excited to be contacted by Betty Crocker
and share some fun ideas with you since they have come to my rescue MANY times for special celebrations!

Ever since I saw that Birthday Cakes were running over
$30 at the local grocery stores, I have made my own!
Betty Crocker to my rescue,
as a cake mix is EASILY less than $2 at the store!
(much less with coupons)
Five cakes a year... that means a SAVINGS of over $140!

Do you remember Miss Sarah's Dinosaur Party?
The cake design came off their website!

The matching cupcakes were my own....
complete with edible rocks.

Betty Crocker again - for the big Princess Birthday Party!
My cupcakes...

But their Doll Cake for the family party.
Yes, I could go on and on and on.....

If you don't feel like you can look at a box and whip something up -- have no fear!
Betty Crocker has been helping make us all look brilliant since 1921 with simple,
easy to do recipes that have a step-by-step tutorial, like the Ice Cream Cone Cakes pictured above!
The Betty Crocker Kitchens in Minneapolis has been whipping up some fun
for this summer's celebrations like a Flip-Flops Cake or even a Butterfly Cake!
You can see their complete online inspiration center here: Summer Birthday Cakes - Betty Crocker.

Now.... off to see about a Rainbow Cake....
