2013 Goals
I am
a firm believer that goals are like a road map --
Let's say you want to take a vacation:
Do you just hop
in the car and start driving?
A rare few do, while most of us make a plan. We
figure out a destination, how we are going to get there and what we need along
the way.
A goal is like
that!
- What do you want to accomplish?
- How will you make it happen?
- What do you need to make it a reality?
See- just like a
map for your future.
=)
=)
If you haven't taken time to make a few goals for this coming year -- I invite you to do it today! You can learn more about goals, and how to set them, HERE.
As the year winds down, it is good to take a look at what your goals for the year were, and see how you did.
I had mind broken down into segments: Health, Family, Home, Education, Business, Finance, Religious/Giving
Health:
- Loose 30# (I did 35 pounds last year with my restrictions)
- Learn Tai Chi
- Scale down the meat. We scaled down red meat last year but need to add more grains and beans to our diet.

Family: The same as last year
- A vacation this year, just the 3 of us (we usually have my or his folks along...) Our 2013 Disney trip is planned! We just aren't telling Miss Sarah that we are going yet!
- Make Sarah's "down" day of the week special
- A monthly Date Night with my husband
- Keep packing for the eventual move - the things we don't really need right NOW. I really need to attack the basement

- Teach 6 classes a month, helping other families save money at the store --looking a little lean for the summer but OK through May and starting up again in September
- Have 5 Scrapbooking Crops in Madison -- all scheduled and filling up!

- $10,000 more in retirement
- $2,000 for a vacations -- all saved!
