So you take the family out to eat and the kids typically do one of two things. They either pick at their food and don't eat a thing, or they gobble it up and cry for more, usually eating what is on your plate.

Maximize your savings by using a gift card those days and you are able to enjoy a family meal for pennies. We also skip the drinks and just do water - it's healthier than soda and cheaper since it's usually over $2/glass!

***This list is a work in progress! I will add new locations as I learn about them and make changes as I am informed.

***Please confirm with the actual restaurant to verify that these are current offers before you head out to dinner!

***Unless noted differently, each place allows for ONE kids meal per every ONE adult meal

Benvenuto's Italian Grill (all Madison Locations)
Mondays: Kids 10 and under eat FREE all day (one kid meal per adult meal)

Chili's (both Madison Locations)
Tuesdays: Kids under 12 eat FREE all day (2 kids meals per adult meal)

Claddagh Irish Pub 1611 Aspen Commons, Middleton
Sundays: Kids eat FREE all day (one kid meal per adult meal)

Denny's All Janesville and Madison Locations
Tuesdays &Saturday's: 4-10PM, Kids eat FREE (but pay for their drinks)

El Patron (Mexican) 1303 W. Main St, Sun Prairie - the old Pizza Hut/Pancake Cafe
Sundays: All Day! Kids 10 and under.
**Note: I have heard mixed reviews on this place but it does have a great new outdoor patio! The general concenses is the OTHER main st Mexican restaurant has better food.

Monday and Tuesday: Kids eat FREE after 4:00PM

Fazoli's All Janesville and Madison
Tuesdays: 5-8PM, Kid's 12 and under eat off the Kid's menu for $.99

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
