Today I hit Copps for a few things -- like those instant potatoes that were on my stock up list! At $1.05 and I had $1.00/2 coupons... that makes them $.05 each. I got a year's supply (24) of them. Now, before you say {Ewww...} let me tell you that I use them to help thicken soups in a pinch instead of adding more roux/fat/cornstarch. They do add a creamy layer of flavor and you can use one bag for 2-4 batches of soup. I also added milk and took advantage of that Kellogg's Keebler deal and picked up International Delite for scones this winter.  I get $5 back on those from SavingStar! There is no secret that it is cheaper to pack a lunch from home than buy a lunch at school or once you get to work. You can use your own leftovers AND items you get while couponing. Here is the trick: Keeping it from getting boring. We do a few fun different things: A joke a day Cool sandwiches There are SO many fun sandwich cutters out there -- and you can use them over and over!                My tips? 1) Cut the bread FIRST and then add the fillings! Then, you can save the "garbage" bread for home made croutons, bread crumbs or stuffing mix.
