What To Stock Up On In January
We all know that produce is seasonal...but there are also selling cycles for NON-perishable items too!
In the past, I have talked about Easter Clearance in April, BBQ Supplies in May and June, Fruit snacks and Juice Boxes in August - etc.
As we turn to the new year, it seems to be about a few things: New Years Resolutions, Flu/Cold Season and The Super Bowl!
Here is a list to watch for rock bottoms prices:
Quaker brand items, like oatmeal and granola bars along with other diet foods including: Healthy Choice, South Beach, Lean Cuisine, Special K, Kashi, Smart Start, and Nabisco100 Calorie Packs of snacks. That seems funny when you also see deals on snacky items for Super Bowl Sunday: like sodas, Chips & Dips, Cheese, sandwich items, crackers, snacks, wings.
The drugstores usually have a lot of deals on Cold and Flu Medicine, along with vitamins...
I'd also keep an eye out for a few more ground beef/beef roast deals and fill the freezer. Soon, the prices will JUMP on beef and you will be happy you had some.
Of course there are still the remnants of the sales on Christmas/holiday Decorations, Toys, Wrapping Papers...I love to get muffin cups after they drop to 75% off. If you like wine/champagne, there should be deals on those too after the holidays. We love a bottle of Asti Zonin once in a while and I only have one left!
