It's the World's Largest Bratfest this weekend!
Brats + Live Music + Charity = Madison Awesomeness!
You will probably see my husband there as NBC 15 does a lot with Tim Metclafe on this...just look for him, he will be wearing his yellow shirt and hat. (LOL, everyone is - sorry!). Here is a picture of my kid brother working the grill - in his patriotic bandanna. There is also a carnival, and other things to eat like roasted corn on the cob and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream - yum!

Buy a Johnsonville brat for $2 and you are helping one of these local charities (I'm particularly fond of Bethel Horizon's, LOL as it is our church's camp/retreat center that takes a lot of low income kids each year and gives them a great adventure)
Saturday, May 26th
The Dane County Farmer's Market on the Square!!!!
Squeaky Cheese Curds, Baked goods, spring produce AND the beautiful downtown Madison - what more could you ask for?
Madison Children's Museum
There are several activities today; Build a fairy knoll or learn about solar cookers. Both are included with your admission - and it's a FUN place for the kids. It will help keep you cool too! See more HERE
Lego Club
(1:30-3:00) at the Madison Sequoya Library. We'll provide a theme and stories and pictures to inspire the imagination. Join other LEGO fans and build your own unique creation! FREE. (I sent this to one of my sisters has her stepson is a little Lego freak, LOL!)
Visit the UW Geology Museum
1215 W. Dayton St., 262-2399, http://www.geologymuseum.org/ (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.) —Besides its extensive mineral, rock and fossil collections behind glass, kids can touch rocks from a time when there were volcanoes in Wisconsin, see rocks and minerals that glow, and stand under huge mastodon tusks. Great for those like my daughter who want to be a Paleontologist!
Sunday, May 27th
The Memorial Union Terrace
They always seem to have something fun going on there - music, Babcock ice cream, etc and there is no charge!
Last time we went there were FREE crafts, a GIANT inflatable Bucky, Balloon animals and an outdoor brat stand (not FREE).
Look for the big orange chair and turn it into a photo-op like we did with Miss Sarah and the peanut of Ashely from Coupons for Wisconsin already this summer!

Make a day out of it with a picnic.
Go Bowling!
