HyVee has another 2-Day sale this week. Yippe!!
We are starting to see some of the Easter/Spring holiday prep items I was talking about on sale: Baking items and more! 10 for $10 deals are back - just remember, this also means you can buy just ONE item for $1. Work with your coupons - you don't need to buy 10 items when you only have coupons for 4.
Produce:
Stemilt Cameo Apples $.88/#)
Melissa's Fresh Jicama $.88/# - this is crunchy like celery, yet juicy like a pear with a very mild flavor. Cut it into strips and serve with dip, like you would carrots. Yum!
Fresh Green Peppers $.77 EACH -- weight them and buy the heavier ones! Three good peppers should be two pounds. You can CLEAN them, DICE them and FREEZE them for use later!
Golden Ripe Cantaloupe $1.48 EACH - again, weigh them to make sure you keep to the $1/#
Baby carrots $1/#
Meat Deals:
I am not seeing any real deals here -- Oscar Mayer hot dogs will be cheaper in the middle of May so hold out if you can. Chicken thighs were cheaper two weeks ago...this just isn't the aisle to hit this week unless you are craving the pork ribs $1.99/#)
