Meal Plan Monday

It's the beginning of a new week!

In my coupon class, I teach people how to save money at the stores. That is half of the equation for saving money on food, meal planning is the other half to it.

You have to USE the food you have brought home and not let yourself make the "fast food run" - those add up fast and kill your budget!

Meal planning also saves you time - no more getting home and playing "open up the cupboard doors, what falls out is for dinner" game. You KNOW what you are going to make/eat and have the recipes and ingredients handy. THIS saves you both time and money, two great things!

As I look through my planner, this week brings me a Kindergarten graduation, morning as snack helper in her school, one meeting, two Tupperware Parties, one coupon class and a lot of time swimming in the pool (if it's hot) It's going to be a long week so it's only fitting that it should end with dinner out! We will grab a gift card out of the box and have a nice night out.
Any time you see ** it means it was something pulled out of the freezer.

Here is the list:

Breakfast will include:
-Yogurt (I still have 4 packs left)
- Pears or Grapefruit halves (I got a few from my Mom)
-Emerald Breakfast To Go Granola/Nut packs
-boxed cereal (might as well, we have 20 boxes in stock!)
-fruit crepes

Lunches as normal (sandwiches, soup, left overs, tappas plates) and for dinner...

Monday : Cold Tuna Pasta Salad
Tuesday - Fridge Clean Out (cleaning/using up leftovers)
Wednesday - Chili Dog** Casserole with green salad
Thursday - Beef**/Been/Rice Enchiladas with corn
Friday - Cheddar Beer Soup, Rhodes multi grain rolls**
Saturday - Sandwiches and home made potato salad - using frozen hard boiled eggs
Sunday - Eat out : gift card night!
What are you going to feed YOUR family this week?
