It's the Little Things...
At the beginning of the year, we were sent home a note that Miss Sarah's Elementary School had a goal to collect 4,000 Campbell's Labels for Education for some new playground equipment.
It's a tough time for a lot of people, and also their churches and schools...states simply don't have any money right now and are cutting where ever they can. Instead of buying $10 rolls of wrapping paper, Labels or even the Box Tops for Education program can make SUCH a difference and take so little work.
The joys of a stock pile (and some great family members that do the same) mean we were able to turn a few labels into the school today. In fact, we clipped them, put them on the cute little sheets, totaled them and even tied them with curling ribbon - so Miss Sarah could hand them to her principal this morning.
The cool part is the simple fact that we aren't done clipping/pasting yet, LOL!
I am DELIGHTED that all those Emerald Breakfast To Go boxes = 10 points for their UPC!
I stocked up on 50 boxes for the extended family when, after coupon, they were only $.50 a box, one store had a clearance and I got PAID to take them home!

How many labels did we turn in?
5,500

Miss Sarah wants to keep going...She thinks we should make it 10,000 labels for the year - maybe 12,000 and TRIPLE the school's goal. I simply LOVE my little Go Getter... who, by the way, earned a school "Sparkle Award".
