Caramel Popcorn

First of all - you have to check out this SUPER Cute way to packge it!
I see holiday gift ideas...kid's birthday parties...and SO MUCH MORE with this!!

Just pop (no pun intened) over to Ruffled and see their idea for a wedding favor HERE

Now, it's another Tupper recipe -- one that we actually do at parties (Popcorn/Apple fall parties)

Caramel Popcorn

2 bags of microwave popcorn**
1 stick margarine,
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
1 large brown paper bag

Pop the popcorn and pour both of the popped bags into a large brown paper bag.

Combine margarine, brown sugar, and syrup in 1 3/4 qt. casserole of the Tupperwave Stack Cooker. (or oval microwave cooker would work too)
Heat on high for 5 minutes, stirring once every 2 1/2 minutes.
Then, Stir in baking soda.
Warning: Mixture will foam!

Pour over popcorn in bag and shake. Place bag in microwave and heat on high for 1 minute. Shake, heat 1 more minute, shake.

You can store any leftovers in an airtight modular mate container or wonderlier bowl or other airtight storage container. (If you have any...)

**We don't buy microwave popcorn for a few reasons...but that is for another day. We use our Stack Cooker to pop it in less than 3 mintues and have no toxic fumes.
