Blessing Boxes

If you have been a follower of mine for a while - you know I often post deals on toys/kids items that you can get for almost FREE and I suggest you pick a few up to donate, if you don't have little people that you are shopping for.

The time of year that we stock up on those items is almost here- the holidays!

The Toys For Tots donation bins are out -- soon you will see the "Giving Trees" at the malls and maybe even wish lists at your own church for an "adopt a family" kind of thing.

We like to pick a few kiddos off the Giving Tree and to make "Blessing Boxes".

You take a shoebox and fill with with things to make a little person happy - a few crafty items like crayons, a few toys like little cars/dolls, personal care items like fun toothpaste or soap, candy, hair clips, etc. You can see a complete suggestion list HERE

You can learn more about the Samaritan's Purse program here -- Operation Shoe Box . If you are in the Madison Area - Door Creek Church and Point of Grace Community Church are drop off sites
:)
Hurry - National Collection week is almost here -- November 14-21st.

Blessings to you-
Dannelle
