I Ran To Target...and made money.
To make a little money on their Glade Deal
:)
Five transactions, 20 candles and 5 room sprays later, I made a profit of $14.45
I did share that deal scenario with you HERE and had a variety of Glade coupons like some $2 off 2 that were from a tear pad somewhere!
Here is how: I used the gift cards from transaction 1 to pay on #2. Then #2 to pay on #3, etc and I ended up paying $ OOP and ending up with $17.56 in GC for a profit of $14.45
I can't really do candles so those will go in the gift pile -- but I LOVE room sprays!
:)
Here is how it went - the same transaction, five times.
Transaction #1
4 candles and 1 room spray -- $12.50
-two $2/2
-$.55/1 spray
-one coupon for a $5 GC
$7.95+ .16 (it looks like they credited the GC before tax?) = $8.11, I used a $5 gift card to pay (from an old offer and then had $3.11 OOP
**I got back two $5 Gift Cards
Transaction #2:)

**I got back two $5 Gift Cards
Transaction #4
4 candles and 1 room spray -- $12.50

Transaction #5
4 candles and 1 room spray -- $12.50
-two $2/2
-$.55/1 spray
-one coupon for a $5 GC
$7.95+ .16 (it looks like they credited the GC before tax?) = $8.11. I paid with the $.67 left over from Transaction #3 and that other $5 GC... and the one GC from Transaction #4 and had a $2.56 balance. (plus another $5 GC)

That leaves me $17.56 back in my pocket on 4 different gift cards!!
I paid $3.11 initially so it's a PROFIT of $14.45
I LOVE shopping -- did I ever tell you that?
