Today's Shopping Tip: Store Policies

ALWAYS carry the store coupon policy with you when you shop!

There are a lot of part time employees, or seasonal help, that don't really understand their own store's coupon policies and give you mis-information.

If you have a copy of it with you -- you can pull it out, show it to them and kindly (we are ALWAYS beyond polite to them) ask them if their store policy has changed because it states HERE (show printed policy) that their policy states......."___".

Here is a great example (Thanks to Kristen R for emailing me!) :

I have had two encounters this week with Walgreen's employees that
do not know their own coupon policy.
One lady even told me you only earn Jingle Bucks
when purchasing Christmas Items!
Thanks to your blog I now bring a copy of their coupon policy
so I don't have to wait for a supervisor each time I visit.

See?
It can save you time and frustration by having a copy of their store policy at your fingertips!

It's also helpful to know things like at Woodman's, if you take a coupon and don't use it that same shopping trip - they consider it theft and will prosecute (first item listed in their policy HERE)

If  you aren't sure of your store's policy -- I try to keep on top of all changes for you.
Just check for your store HERE and then add it to your coupon box or binder. You will be happy you took the time!

  1. So glad you posted about Woodman's coupon policy. I do that all the time--Eeeek! Won't be doing that anymore!

  2. I'd hate to see an article about you in the newspaper........LOL! Sadly, it's a policy because the few, spoiled it for the many.
