My Shopping Plan For The Week

First I will go to Walgreen's and pick up 3 packs of Omeprezole. This saves me over $100 on something that I have to take daily, regardless. It will also get me $24 in RR that I can easily use at Copp's.

I want to hit Copps and see if there is more of the Louis Rich Ground Turkey @$1.00. I'd like to get 20-25 pounds for the food pantry. I also have egg vouchers to use up and need some milk and fruit. I am down to frozen fruit so today's snack after school is going to be a smoothie!

HyVee and Sentry didn't excite me....so I probably will skip those.

That looks like it's it! I am going to hold tight until DOUBLE DOUBLE Day on March 3rd and keep eatting out of my chest freezer.

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
