Indoor Farmer's Market

Super Saturday Story time - at Barn's N Noble Bookstore (10:30 AM - 11:15 AM)
Super Saturday Imagination Story time is on the first and third Saturday of each month and begins at 10:30am. It's an amazing adventure for children and their family to take together!

Every Saturday October thru May - Overture Center for the Arts
Overture Center offers free arts programs designed for children and families at 9:30 AM, 11 AM and 1 PM. The popular performing arts series for children and families offers a relaxed, kid-friendly environment in which to enjoy a diverse lineup of local and regional musicians, storytellers, jugglers, theater troupes, magicians and dancers.
The 1 PM performances are sign language interpreted. Kids in the Rotunda takes place on the Rotunda Stage. This week: The Cash Box Kings who are dedicated to carrying on the spirit of the 1940's and 50's post-war blues sound.
Chemistry Fun at UW Space Place
Space Place family workshops are offered every Saturday at 10 a.m. for children ages 6-10 and their parents. The workshops are free and open to the public. No registration is required for any of the workshops but attendance is LIMITED to the first 50 people. This weekend:
Space Place is located at 2300 S. Park Street in the Villager Mall, which is just north of the Beltline Highway
Spring Flower Show - A GARDEN PARTY at Olbrich Gardens10 am - 4 pm daily (LAST WEEKEND)
Step into Olbrich's Atrium, filled with the sights and smells of spring. Colorful daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are among the spring flowers that bloom in this indoor show of spring at its finest. Suggested $2 admission. GREAT for pictures! 3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison
Visit the UW Geology Museum
1215 W. Dayton St., 262-2399, http://www.geologymuseum.org/ (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.) —Besides its extensive mineral, rock and fossil collections behind glass, kids can touch rocks from a time when there were volcanoes in Wisconsin, see rocks and minerals that glow, and stand under huge mastodon tusks. Great for those like my daughter who want to be a Paleontologist!
