Princess Room Art Canvas
You have heard me talking about my process to turn Miss Sarah's Noah's Ark Nursery into a Princess Bedroom! This project was part of the process: Art Canvas.
I had seen this idea from virginiaandcharlie.blogspot.com on Pinterest:
It's a pretty simple concept:
Take plain canvas, draw your design in Elmer's Glue. Let it dry and paint the canvas all one color.
Easy-peasy - right?
So I came up with my designs: a tiara and a castle, and drew them in glue:
Then, I painted them pink.
Very Pink.
When they were dry, I took "Star Dust" Stickles (glitter glue) and went over the relief to make it "pop" more.
The final result?
Check it out.
The cost?
I had the glue, paint and stickles - the pack of canvas cost me $4.99 - and it had four 8x10 canvases in it.... so I made both of these for $2.50
Yes, I love decorating on the cheap
:)
