Bacon-O-Rama!
You have seen it yourselves:
- the frozen green peas start to look like raisins...
- your cured meats like bacon, hot dogs, ham, etc get saltier
- your roasts get tougher and drier
Today sees me cooking off 5 pounds of bacon. Yes, we will be set for quiches, BLTs, my Autumn Chowder, and more for quite a while, LOL!
I just LOVE the smell of bacon - don't you?
