Rubber Ducky River RaceRubber Ducky River Race
The Madison Mallards Baseball Team, Madison Parks, and the Madison Parks Foundation are teaming up to host the Rubber Ducky River Race at Tenney Park on the Yahara River. The proceeds of the event will benefit the Goodman Pool scholarship fund.

Visit the UW Geology Museum

Great for those like my daughter who want to be a Paleontologist!

Syttende Mai
If you are Norwegian or a wanna-be Norwegian, this is the place to be! The big parade starts at but you will see costumes and more - grab roasted corn on the cob or even freshly made cheese curds! You will also see folk dancing, rosemaling, hardanger and quilt exhibits, ethnic food, arts & crafts fair,  This is where you will see us

JANESVILLE RENAISSANCE FAIRE 10 am to 6 pm, Step back in time, and leap forward in fun. A day of music, fun, shopping and food. A special area just for the kids...with puppet shows and crafts at no extra charge. Cost, $7...$1 off for food donation. Children $5

Dogs on the Square
This starts at Noon, Madison pet businesses have set up come try some exciting canine challenges. Bring your fur baby or simply come to see all the different ones. More info HERE

The Memorial Union Terrace
They always seem to have something fun going on there - music, Babcock ice cream, etc and there is no charge!
Last time we went there were FREE crafts, a GIANT inflatable Bucky, Balloon animals and an outdoor brat stand (not FREE).

Look for the big orange chair and turn it into a photo-op like we did with Miss Sarah and the peanut of Ashely from Coupons for Wisconsin last weekend.
