My Garage Sale Scores Today

So I was headed off to DeForest for their city wide sales this morning and one lonely little garage sale sign caught my eye.
It was almost like Divine Intervention, LOL!

Sizes 7-8 galore and most items were $.50!
I had jeans and dresses on my list -- here is what I got:

5 dresses, some skirts, a whole bag of K-cups (tea and cocoa for $.50!) a few fun sparkly shirts, hair pretties and about a dozen fun bracelets for dress up
 10 pairs of pants, shorts, a skirt and a top
 Just look at these jeans - what girl wouldn't love pink, sparkly butterflies?
 A Barbie raincoat
And let's not forget the free box -- I can ALWAYS use more bags - a cute journal for Miss Sarah and another ornament for our snowman themed Christmas tree!

Grand total?
$17.25 and I never made it to DeForest, LOL

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
