My Shopping Plans

I got a little flack in some emails because I didn't share my plan last week. Easy - I didn't plan to shop!
:)
The joys of a stockpile mean you can say NO to shopping occasionally and simply pick up ONLY what you need. (Alrighty - I also wasn't nuts about any of the sales fliers...)

I DID hit Walgreen's - again, after more of those (Free after RR) tampons and that dirt cheap Omeprazole! If I take the Omeprazole out of the Medicine budget, that means I am only out $3.18 on this lot - (Tampons were $3.99 - $1/1 Q and a $3 RR back), zinc was for a sick neighbor and the kisses were cheaper than chocolate chips! (and made killer Puppy Chow!) My filler items were the 2 mini hiliters for $.10 each...I used RRs from a previous tampon transaction.

So let's talk our monthly budget:
$100.00
-$7.90 for Sarah to have school lunch 1x week
-$3.18 Walgreen's
-$2.59  Milk
$86.33 to go

What is on the list for THIS week?
I am going to Aldi for some produce today - it's close to the bank I use for my Tupperware Deposits and I HAVE to get the garage sale checks in! I didn't get a flier this past week so I will be surprised at the deals but can bet that bananas, strawberries and asparagus are decent prices right now.

I don't know yet if I am going to Copp's on Wednesday or not -- that deal on the Oscar Mayer Wieners is tempting as I have a team picnic in a few weeks AND a pool party next month! I will need more milk and bread too...crap. I think I just talked myself into going, LOL!

I will share my transaction plan later this afternoon, LOL!

I also have a ton of rhubarb that is PRIME for picking - which means Thursday will see me whipping up some Jam. My absolute favorite recipe is the Rhubarb Pineapple Jam!

What are YOU after this week at the stores?
