Easy Peasy Stuffed Mushrooms!

Yes. It's Summer. (almost)

We do a lot of cooking via crock pot and grill, to help keep the house cooler on those hot days.
:)
Did you know you can grill almost everything?
We even grill pizza!

OK, more on that later --
I am talking about stuffed mushrooms right now!

Have you seen the Kraft Fresh Take mix at the stores? It's a mix of seasoned bread crumbs and cheese...that you combine when you open the package. It comes in several different flavors and you are supposed to "shake and bake" the chicken/pork chops, etc.

There certainly has been a lot of coupons out there for it...like this one: $0.75 off ONE package of KRAFT Fresh Take

Why am I telling you this?
It's a SUPER fast way to make stuffed mushrooms!

Simply clean the mushrooms and remove the stems to make the mushroom caps. Open a bag of the Fresh Take and combine the breadcrumb mix with the cheese. Use that mix to stuff the mushroom caps and make sure they are "mounded" as the cheese will melt and you will wonder what happened to your stuffing.

One bag of Fresh Take will fill THREE 8oz packs of mushrooms!
As you can see - we even grill the mushrooms...it's super easy and adds an additional layer of flavor to them.
Yum!

FYI - the asparagus simply gets drizzled with a little olive oil and then dusted with salt and pepper.
:)
Have you gotten the Fresh Take before? What have you done with it?

  1. I love Fresh Take for coating Chicken Breasts. The Weight Watchers points plus value is nice and low with lots of flavor!
