I went shopping today...$327.35 for $54.16

It was SO nice of them to leave the bologna in the case boxes (24 to a box) for me - MUCH easier to deliver to the food pantry!

FYI - they were OUT of the Trail Mix -- I am talking about Fisher! They couldn't pre-order for me and didn't have any on their shelves... so I skipped it. They weren't going to do rain checks on it either as they had no idea when it would be available again. BUMMER! The coupons go thru the end of June, LOL!

Now - GREAT news:
The Oscar Mayer deal ROLLS!
I was able to use a $4 Catalina to pay for the next order and it still gave me a Catalina!

Yes, I had a lot of transactions today -- and most were without the store card as it cut me off, LOL!

The Pretzel sticks you will see next week for the big Princess Party... more info on my stuffed mushroom addiction shortly, and all of those mini ice cream cones? Easy Peasy - we have a bajillion kids play here now and I am stocked up for when I fail to make my popsicles, LOL!

I already shared my shopping plan with you and it almost went without a hitch --
It ended up being $327.35 for $58.16 - and I have a $4 Catalina yet.
That's 144 items!
I saved 84%
:)

Details later, I am off for a school field trip this morning and have to get that bologna to the food pantry first!

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
