I started out buying a $100 gift card with the first transaction - to keep my shopping simple for July - it's my $100 budget, LOL! I know there is a DOUBLE DOUBLE DAZE on Saturday, June 23rd and July 14th - and will certainly hit them!

$100 Copps Gift Card
4 Garnier Fructis items @$2.50 (normally $3.49)
1 Blue Bunny Ice Cream Pack @$3.50  (normally $4.75)
-coupons used: (4) Garnier - doubled and one Blue Bunny (doubled)
Take out the gift card and I have $19.04 for $3.83

5 Oscar Mayer Bologna @$1.00 (normally $2.29)
5 Blue Bunny Ice Cream @$3.50 (normally $4.75)
1# baby carrots @$1.00 (normally $1.29)
Skim milk @$2.59
--coupons used: 5 Blue Bunny (doubled), in add milk coupon $.60
paid 15.39 for $43.58 and got back $4.00 Catalina

Roundy's Pretzel @$1.49 (was $2.32)
4 Crystal Light @$2.00 (was $3.51)
3  belVita @$2.50 (was 3.69)

paid 12.98 for $38.49 and I got a $4.00 Catalina

--used $4.00 Catalina from previous transaction
$11.45 for $1.00 and got a new $4.00 Catalina!

Grand total?

$327.25 for $54.16 and I still have a $4 Catalina in my hands! That puts me $4 lower than this morning -- I rushed to get it up for you and didn't double check my math, LOL!

The bologna is already at the food pantry - yippee!

    I didn't think they would...I only bought 10 packs on 2 different trips. Froze 7 of them, 2 are already gone :)

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
