Magic Kingdom Character Meetups This Year and Tips

First of all, let me say it's all in the buttons!
If you are a first time visitor you can get a button that says that. If you are celebrating a birthday, they have Birthday Buttons! As this was our gift to Miss Sarah for her birthday, she wore her Birthday button - and this gives you a little bit of extra TLC from the characters.

Trust me - you want the buttons. HUGE tip. The button got Sarah a full five minutes with Merida, a dance with Jessie and some special love from Tiana and Naveen.

We were at the park when it opened and tried to wake Tinkerbell at the Tinkerbell's Treasures Store but they had changed that. They explained to us that the rotten Captain Hook had discovered and blown up her sleeping place so they had to relocate her to the Magical Nook (#8) where we would get shrunken down to pixie size. (It didn't hurt).
We saw the hard to find Terence...
Then a visit with Tinkerbell - who was SOOOO funny!
We were then unshrunk and ran into Aladdin and Jasmine:
In Frontierland, we found Woody and Jessie! Jessie showed Miss Sarah a lil' western dance.
Then comes Merida.
Seriously, we got five minutes with her!
She sat and talked, let Sarah play peek-a-boo with the three bears/brothers, they sang a bit too!
**Tip: I had the Merida dress in a 1 gallon zippy bag in my backpack, and then we popped Miss Sarah into it while we were in line. It was too hot to wear it all day and we didn't want it to get wet. Our dress was from Target, on sale. Much cheaper than the $89.99 Disney version, beautiful as it is.
 Smile ladies!
She also got a free archery lesson!
We caught Buzz Lightyear -
And let's not forget James...(so special, he gets a whole post of his own!)
Then comes Tiana and Naveen.
While waiting for them, Miss Sarah harvested the fresh blossoms that had fallen,
and presented them to Naveen.
Then came the "silly dance" which Miss Sarah taught them and they kept doing for her.
It was dubbed the Froggy Jump. We didn't catch it on film but I can't wait to see the Photopass shots - Even the photographer was laughing!
Honestly, we DID do rides, see a few shows and eat,
we were just lucky with the photo opportunities this year.
