Weekend Fun
All
Weekend:
Sun Prairie Corn Fest
--It's a lot of fun for my hometown! Parade Thursday night with a TON of candy for the kids, a carnival, free bounce house and let's not forget the steamed-in-the-husk corn on the cob! Make sure you sit on the hill and watch the entertainment stage - you will see everything from ballerinas to karate students. Angel Park - keep in mind that they only have corn on Saturday and Sunday!
:)
125th Dodge County Fair in Beaver Dam
Saturday, August 18th
The Dane County Farmer's Market on the Square!!!!
Squeaky Cheese Curds, Baked goods, spring produce AND the beautiful downtown Madison - what more could you ask for?
Chemistry Fun at UW Space Place

Visit the UW Geology Museum
1215 W. Dayton St., 262-2399,http://www.geologymuseum.org/ (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.) —Besides its extensive mineral, rock and fossil collections behind glass, kids can touch rocks from a time when there were volcanoes in Wisconsin, see rocks and minerals that glow, and stand under huge mastodon tusks. Great for those like my daughter who want to be a Paleontologist!
Sunday, August 19th
How about cooling off at the Middleton Splash Pad?
6300 Mendota Ave, 10am-7pm and FREE!
It's a fully accessable water playground. See more HERE
The Memorial Union Terrace
They always seem to have something fun going on there - music, Babcock ice cream, etc and there is no charge!
Look for the big orange chair and turn it into a photo-op like we did with Miss Sarah and the peanut of Ashely from Coupons for Wisconsin already this summer!
