Frugal Weekend Fun In The Madison Area

Saturday, November 10th
It's the LAST weekend of the Madison Farmer's Market onthe Square.
Then, it will move inside for the winter...and simply isn't the same. Get out with the family, get the fresh baked goods, stock up on kale, the last of the summer tomatoes and more as you have fun walking around our state's beautiful capitol building. 7 am to Noon.

Michael's Craft Stores - Build a Gingerbread House!
1-3:00 see demonstrations and then, leave with supplies to make your own at home.
The demo is free, but I don't think the supplies are. We use graham crackers and white icing -- and rip in to what Halloween candy we have left to decorate it.

They always seem to have something fun going on there - music, Babcock ice cream, etc and there is no charge!
Last time we went there were FREE crafts, a GIANT inflatable Bucky, Balloon animals and an outdoor brat stand (not FREE).
Look for the big orange chair and turn it into a photo-op like we did with Miss Sarah and the peanut of Ashely from Coupons for Wisconsin already this summer!
