Today, So Far...
It's been a LONG day already and we are doing well for making up for my 3 Day Migraine
(and lack of activity....)
We got up before the crack of dawn, packed cocoa and went to Cannery Square to
join the ground hog hoopla!
Here is a very cold Miss Sarah with Quinn from her dance class...
We couldn't find any of our Daisy Troop in the crowd. (sniff)
According to the Mayor (he speaks Groundhogese) -- Jimmy said "early spring: !!
We hit Copps quickly and spent less than $10 (more on that in a bit)
Then it was off to Home Depot for the Valentine's Box Workshop!
They have kits for all the kids and everything you need:
Sandpaper, hammer, glue, instructions and safety glasses!
There is even a table set up with stuff for painting the complete projects!
She LOVES it!
See how she shows off her new pin and certificate?

The Apron is free the first time you come -- they put your name on it!
This time, they also got a valentine and a sucker.
If you don't think many people come to this -
think again.
The trick is to be there by 9:00 AM to make sure they don't run out of kits!
(It has happened)

Back into a cold car...
you can see that all the ice hasn't come off my windshield yet!
It's a "high" of 7 degrees.
(brrr...)
(brrr...)
Where were we going?
To see Madagascar 3 at the Eastgate Cinema for $2.00
We DID get a $2 soda and popcorn -- so that is $4 out of our food budget this month!
It warmed up to 8 whole degrees while we were inside.
Now her sliding door on my van is no longer frozen shut, LOL!
We came home to a play date with her BFF...
Later comes dinner out (using a gift card) with Daddy.
How is your weekend turning out?
