I can't stop laughing about the Elmo Sightings today at the Dane County East Just Between Friends Sale. If you aren't familiar with Just Between Friends, it is a chain of businesses that are often run by Moms, like me. It is a resale event. Think megga garage sale, but everything works, is complete, in good repair, etc. They are pretty tough on items being checked in so shoppers only get great stuff.

So, this weekend is their big sale in DeForest at the Comfort Inn and Suites.
Everything you need for your child ages newborn to preschool!: clothing from newborn to size 5, shoes, toys, baby equipment (high chairs, pack n plays, strollers, swings, etc), nursing gear, you name it, it will be here!
Friday, 3/1, 10am to 8pm & Saturday, 3/2, 10am to 6pm. FREE ADMISSION both days and on Saturday - many items will be 1/2 off!
 
Now, down to Elmo Mania...
They have been finding the little bugger in different places at their sale -- just take a look at some of their pictures:

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
