Shopping this week...I made $2.98 profit
I had shared my plans to hit Copp's, Walgreen's and probably Walmart this week with you HERE
I had a few days with a sick kiddo so I never made it to Walmart but did hit the other two.
First Copps:
They threw me for a loop by NOT carrying the Renuzit Crystals that I was going to get FREE and use to bump up that $25 total of mine....so I did a plan "B".
I only did one transaction and got:
10 cans of RedGold tomatoes @$1.00 (normally $1.65)
A Quart of Half & Half (for quiche) @$1.14
4 Roundy's String Cheese @$1.25 (normally $1.54)
2 Buitoni Ravioli @$3.00 (normally $3.79)
4 Horizon Vanilla Milk Singles @$1.00 (normally $1.45)
-coupons used: five $.75/1 RedGold (doubled), five $.50/1 Red Gold, $2 Horizon items (suck up letter), $5 came off instantly on the RedGold, $4 Catalina from last week and $5 Catalina from last week.
Final price: $37.18 for $.14, and I get back $.75 on SavingStar for the RedGold to make a profit of $.61 I saved 101.6%
Not bad for taking home 20 items, LOL!
I also hit Walgreen's.
I had two RRs in my hands, one for $3 and one for $4 -- I only used ONE of them.
Transaction 1:
South beach Meal Bars @$5.99 +$.33 sales tax
-$1/1 coupon (no longer available)
Paid $5.32 and got a $6 RR back to make a $.68 PROFIT.
Transaction #2
South beach Meal Bars @$5.99 +$.33 sales tax
1 Gallon Skim milk @$2.99
-$1/1 coupon (no longer available), $4 RR
Paid $4.31 and got a $6 RR back to make a $1.69 PROFIT.
Grand total: I got paid $2.37 to bring home $17.97 (not including tax) -- again, making money.
=)
So, I now have $15 in RRs in my hands...$3 that expire in a week.
