Last Summer, and the year before, I shared my list of cool things to do in the summer and I realized, it was time to do it again for the summer of 2012! Here it is, the last week of school for most kids -- if you haven't done something like this yet, it pays to plan a bit! Since I first printed our list, I have taken over Miss Sarah's Daisy Troop... (I know, in my spare time, LOL) So I have actually  ADDED a few things that I have planned with the girls. Keep in mind that this isn't a list of everything you HAVE to do over the summer! It's a list to refer back to when you have those "what should we do today" moments. :) There is NO WAY we will get everything on the list done in the 10-12 week window of summer vacation !!! Mail In Rebates are a GREAT way to save even more on the things that you buy! You pay for them at the store, then send the form and receipt in and they send you money back! How cool is that? :) This is a MIR for any 3M or Post-it labels. Yes. It's Summer. (almost) We do a lot of cooking via crock pot and grill, to help keep the house cooler on those hot days. :) Did you know you can grill almost everything? We even grill pizza! OK, more on that later -- I am talking about stuffed mushrooms right now! Have you seen the Kraft Fresh Take mix at the stores? It's a mix of seasoned bread crumbs and cheese...that you combine when you open the package. It comes in several different flavors and you are supposed to "shake and bake" the chicken/pork chops, etc. There certainly has been a lot of coupons out there for it...like this one: $0.75 off ONE package of KRAFT Fresh Take Why am I telling you this? It's a SUPER fast way to make stuffed mushrooms! Simply clean the mushrooms and remove the stems to make the mushroom caps.
