Today's Grocery Run...not too shabby!

This week, Copps let your double TEN coupons (up to $1 each) at the checkout. You still needed the $25 minimum purchase before they let you double them. Quick math --
10 coupons x $1 - that are doubled = $20...you only need to add $5 more or a few more coupons that they wouldn't double.

Here was the problem...the sales weren't that hot, LOL!

THAT is how you maximize the deals - matching coupons to the sales specials.

I still ended up with 2 transactions and $112.12 for $31.06, saving 72%

Here are the details:

Transaction #1
-One "meal deal" - a 4# chuck roast that gave me free carrots*, potatoes* and dinner rolls*.
-3 Ronzoni pasta* - on sale for $1 each
-2 boxes Riceland Rice @ $1.15 each
-2 boxes TGIF potato skins @$2.50
-2 Deli Creations (for DH's lunch) @$2.00 each

-2 pounds fresh strawberries @$1.88
-Skim Milk @$1.99

-2 YoPlus yogurt* (B1G1)

Now for the coupons...
$.75 off Ronzoni (doubled), $1 off two pasta (doubled), two $.50 off the rice (doubled), two $1.50 off the TGIF, $1.50 off two Deli Creations, Now for the yogurt! The YoPlus had $.55 peelies on them...add those to my three $1 off coupons and all doubled. I got paid $.43 to take the yogurt home!

Final total $77.31 for $24.54.
Not my best, but I got 10 pounds of meat, fresh veggies and fruit in the load and everything with a * was FREE!

--->Grand total = $112.12 for $31.06

I already told ya what to do with the chicken in a previous post...the beef roast is already in my crock pot (with a can of beer and half a package of onion soup mix). We like to shred it and eat on buttered buns or add a little BBQ sauce! You can also substitute it for almost any recipe that I mentioned in my ground beef post.
