Yes, I was on Pinterest. I was looking for a few fun themed ideas for my American Dream Team Tupperware pool party this coming month - along with something to bring to the 4th of July picnic we go to. :) Fun stuff - right? I was looking for easy and fun ideas and ended up with these as my top ten. :) Let's start at the bottom left corner and work our way around clockwise... Dot Candy  (so fun and colorful !) Sprinkle Coated Ice Cream Sandwiches on a Stick  (why I got the frozen yogurt ones yesterday) Bald Eagle Cookies  (fun project for the kiddos!) Patriotic Jello Parfaits  (great for a hot day) Rocket Fire Crackers from TP tubes  (great decor!) Cake on a stick  (Cake AND ice cream - together. Yum!) I mentioned before that we didn't really needed anything but I had a few Catalina's that were going to expire... Miss Sarah is still pretty sick, and I am not feeling the hottest, so it was a quick, one shot visit to the store. She LOVES rainbow sherbet when she is under the weather - so that threw me off a bit - not on sale and no coupon. (gasp!) One of the things that cracks me up is that Miss Sarah has to "suffer" through home made lunches at school. Rarely does she see Oreos, Fishy Crackers or Teddy Grahams - or other pre-made/packed items from the store. I counter this with fun shaped sandwiches and little notes tucked in the lunch bags. :) I see a lot of bread wasted by people who don't know one simple trick -- cut it BEFORE you add the sandwich fixin's. You can actually cut the entire week's worth and store in until you use it. I have a Tupperware Square 2 Modular Mate for this...  Sometimes we do crowns, dolphins, hearts, dinosaurs, trains, etc - Pretty much any cookie cutter will work.  Now, what do you do with all the extra bread? SAVE IT!!! Can you tell that about 1/3 of each slice is left? If your bread is $4.00 a loaf, why throw out that $1.33? One loaf of bread a week - when you toss  out 1/3 of it - puts $70 a year into your garbage! I put it right

I don't usually buy popsicles but LOVE to stock up on Pop-Ice this time of year. You can get this for as low as $1.49 a box at Menard's right now! (It's on sale for $2.49 in their 4th of July sale flier and many packs have their MIR for $1/1 right on the package. It is NOT a Menard's MIR - it's a Pop-Ice MIR!) WHY do I like to get these? It's one of the best things you can give anyone going thru Chemo. It's cold and helps their mouth. It's sugar water to give them a little energy.
