Thanks to Lynelle Boado Harrison, I was blessed with a bunch of $1/2 Chocolate Covered Peeps or Peepsters coupons the night of my DeForest Coupon Class this week. After the egg hunt, we zipped over to Walmart (I knew Target was already out) and played Peep Fairies! A lot of people looking frantically at the Easter Candy were handed a coupon and shown where these puppies (or should I say chickies?) were at for $1.00 each. Thanks to the coupons, they got TWO for that $1.00 and were tickled pink! Keep in mind they were handed the coupons by a cute 5 year old, wearing bunny ears, who said "Hoppy Easter". :) Thanks again Lynelle - you made a LOT of people happy today!

Note to self - Don't look into the light when taking your own picture....bwahahaha! The ears are courtesy of Miss Sarah - she decided we needed a matched set for today's Tupperware Team Egg Hunt. We had over all the kiddos that could make it for an egg hunt and simple snacks. You can see Sarah's matching bunny ears...   The kids got split into age groups and let loose!   Rachal and her new peanut cheering on the older kids - and snacking out! I switched things up a bit this morning - they didn't have more than 6 of the puddings I wanted and only 2 vanilla extracts. Copps and Pick N Save have a lot of fun planned for this Saturday. 1) If you are a couponer - it's the day they double TEN coupons per transaction, up to a $1 value. With your store card, you can do 6 transactions that day - possibly scoring $120 or more in FREE stuff for your family! 2) If you have kids - they have their egg hunt that day at 7:30 AM. They close a few aisles down, have chocolate foil wrapped eggs and a few prize eggs hidden for the munchkins and let them loose, one age group at a time. ****Here is the problem: If you are there to do some serious shopping, you will have a HUGE issue from 7AM (when the are lining up with the kids) until 9AM when they are finished passing out the prizes, etc. Get there EARLY or LATER - or you will be incredibly frustrated. :)

It's good to do a quick inventory NOW on plastic eggs, egg covered fare like gift bags, wrapping paper, tissue, and non-perishable things for the Easter Baskets NEXT year. to have friends with big toys! =) Our neighbor and friend Bryan has a little farm equipment. We were dreading taking that part of the swing set/play structure apart and hauling around to the back and he volunteered to do it. It had to be driven down the street a bit, to the driveway of the church that touches our back yard, through their yard (with their permission) and into our yard.  We had a small issue under the big Mulberry tree -- a large dead branch was stuck up in it and eliminating clearance...  After he got it through, he used the back hoe part to rip that branch out of the tree. It is going to be MUCH easier to cut it apart, now that it's on the ground! Safely in it's place, we just have to put the swing set back together and attach it, add the slides, etc and stain it.  Bryan and his toy saved me over a week's worth of work - and took less than 15 minutes. He wouldn't let us pay him -- but he WILL get a thank you card in the mail with a restaur
