There are a lot of changes on the Walgreen's Horzon. 1) They are working towards a bi-monthly ad (once every two weeks) 2) They are implimenting a key tag program starting in September. My thoughts? If you have a CVS close - LEARN it and start shopping there. That is what I will be doing - come September. Just a quick note - you are going to REALLY want to learn CVS if you haven't been playing at it. Walgreen's is changing their Resgister Reward program in September and, it's not pretty. Sorry it's so late this week! I didn't get a copy of the ad and had to go pick one up at the store! HUGE ad, full of LOTS of fun stuff! ***It is NOT complete yet, I ran out of time this morning but I will finish it when I get back from my coupon class and TW party today! A few things you need to know about these stores: You can double up to five manufacturer coupons (with a value of $1.00 or less) on Wednesdays and Saturdays (Extended!!!!). Your total order needs to be at least $25 before tax and after store coupons, and you need to use your Roundy's rewards card in order for your coupons to double. Individual store coupon policies may vary, so be sure to check in with customer service.... but the standard company policy is listed HERE There is the new Monopoly game (OK, it's the old one, back again) but it gets you $.25/1 store coupons (that you can stack with) and occasional freebies. :) Don't forget about the Fuel Perks Program ( here )

I have been doing a bit of spring cleaning lately ... as you can tell from my Fridge Clean Out Post. Just wait until you see my Garage Clean Out Post! So -- this is about the little freezer above my lil fridge. Here is the scary before picture: HOW does it get like that???!!! What little monsters sneak into it, in the middle of the night, and create that kind of chaos? OK, just like the fridge - EVERY THING OUT! It's vacuum out and wash down time! I say vacuum - because you do not want any of the freezer floating particles to go down into those little vents- they will foul up your motor and take years off your appliance's shelf life. BAD!!! Vacuum the stuff out first, then get out the soap water to take all the misc popsicle drips, etc out.  Then, put everything back in, in a nice - orderly fashion!  On the top left? My ice packs for migraines, with the brats under it. Some ground chicken is poking out from behind it. To the right of that?
