A Berry Fun Time !!

We hit Aldi this week and picked up a few packs of the $.99, today was slice and dry them day!  If you didn't get your dehydrator yet - from the Aldi deal I talked about here , check out your store the next time you go: they still had some in stock at the East Madison Store! It is SOOOO easy to do! We made banana chips earlier this week and today, did strawberries. Miss Sarah LOVES Special K with berries - until I realized that she was just picking out the berries and elaving the cereal...(sigh) Now she can have JUST the berries OR add them to her Multigrain Cheerios and Chocolate Chex! I cleaned the berries and topped them, Miss Sarah used the egg sclicer and started to fill the trays. When the trays were all full - any berries left over were fair game. Remember, it doesn't have to be fast, neat or tidy - you are creating memories that will last a lifetime. =) The perk? Now, we will have yummy berries to add to muffins, waffles, pancakes, and cereal t

A few changes...

I have updated my tabs, at the top of my blog. When I started with the store match ups -- I did just Copps/Pick N Save and Sentry Foods - so they each had their own page. Now, I cover so many more that I have ONE tab and will update those links as the new ads are done each week. If you click on the store name and there is NO link - it's because it hadn't been updated for that week yet. (It can take me a day or two after the online ads come out) ;) One stop shopping, so to speak! I hope that helps make it easier for you -- I will be adding Menards to it too - and remember: Target Deals? You want Walgreen's Deals? You want Walmart Deals? You want Happy Shopping!

Weighing In...

I teach a lot of coupon classes, some in public venues through libraries and fundraisers, some privately for different companies. It's not uncommon for people to come up afterwards and ask questions or make comments to me...but one comment after a private class blew my mind: "You really should quit this couponing thing - it's so unhealthy! Just look at you and how fat you are! You are such a pretty girl, you would be able to loose a lot of weight if you quit". You don't want to know what the first thoughts running through my head were...honestly. THEN, a few others things ran through my head like: Did he just sit through my class and listen to NOTHING I said? I talk about fresh produce, dairy and meat. How to work the "Cereal Deals" so you get FREE milk and eggs. About eating organic and gluten free foods. Using coupons for cleaning supplies and personal care items! I show pictures of my stockpile that show toilet paper, juice, granola bars, oatmeal
