Magazine Challenge part 3

I now know that I COULD have shared my 30 journey with you for the challenge that All You magazine put out there. My paperwork is all in and awaiting review, it is entirely too munch info for one post so, I will give it to you in weekly summaries. Here is my third week:

Sunday July 4th – holiday pool party!
Breakfast: croissant French toast, pomegranate blueberry juice, sliced strawberries
Lunch: (we took hot dogs) Chicken Nacho, fresh fruit, water
Snack: watermelon
Dinner! Hamburger Stroganoff

Monday, July 5th
Breakfast: croissant fresh fruit plate (grapes, banana slices and strawberries) and pomegranate blueberry juice
Lunch: Turkey Sandwiches with guacamole instead of Mayo, baby carrots
Snack: Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese and Crackers
Dinner! $5 Little Caesar’s Pizza!

Tuesday, July 6th
Breakfast: Zucchini Bread (applesauce instead of oil) and pomegranate blueberry juice
Lunch: Peanut Butter and Jelly on 9 grain bread, sliced bananas
Snack: Fruit Smoothies!
Dinner! Freezer spaghetti!

Wednesday, July 7th
Breakfast: English muffins with almond butter and pomegranate blueberry juice
Lunch: Ham and Swiss on 9 grain bread with mustard, grapes
Snack: Fruit Smoothies!
Dinner! Panko Baked Cod with baked potatoes and mixed veggies

Thursday, July 8th -Branson Trip! (We packed food for the cabin and packed a cooler for the road. We traveled with another couple who chose to buy their share at the store when we got there)
Breakfast: Zucchini Bread (applesauce instead of oil) and pomegranate blueberry juice
Lunch: Turkey sandwiches on 9 grain, yogurt, strawberries, and water
Snack: milk and 100 calorie Nabisco cookies
Dinner! Free dinner at Lambert’s Throwing rolls restaurant: Black Eyed Peas, Fried Okra, Chicken & Dumplings, candied Yams and rolls with milk

Friday, July 9th -Branson Trip!
Breakfast: yogurt and fruit plate (grapes, strawberries, cherries)
Lunch: Tomato Soup, grilled cheese sandwiches
Snack: Orange jell-O
Dinner! Grilled Burgers on buns, baby tater tots, Caesar salad

Saturday, July 10th -Branson Trip!
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, apple juice
Lunch: layered club sandwich, chips, sweet tea
Snack: fruit chiller
Dinner! Son’s of the Pioneers’ Dinner Show (free tickets!) Chuck Wagon BBQ meal. Beef brisket, baked chicken, corn on the cob, oven roasted potatoes, whistle beans, apple cobbler, sweet tea

So this ends week three, I have spent $5 this week and we have eaten pretty well! We completely worked out of our stockpile and used the frozen items to become “ice blocks” for the packed coolers for our trip. We did “swap” a few things with the other couple to round out meals but we spent nothing!
My grand total of $61.57 so far or 72% under budget!
