Amish Cars.
Many of the perks are Amish Oatmeal pies, organic chickens that are about eight pounds when they are fully dressed, onion/cheese bread and more!
Today, we went to visit Ms Erma, who is now a grandmother. Her daughter had her first baby and we brought a few gifts up. Sadly, we have no pictures of the new little peanut to share with you, they were nursing.
=)
Before we left, Ms Erma asked Miss Sarah if she would like a ride in an "Amish Car".
Silly question!
Sarah was helped into the buggy, then Erma got in to drive.
We did learn a few things today - like Amish "cars" require careful foot placement. They poop. This was kind of disturbing to Miss Sarah as she thought someone needed to get out some large toilet paper and "help them out".
We also learned that Amish "cars" talk to each other. Two other buggies came up just after they parked (Erma has an Amish store) and the horses whinnied to each other as they were all at the same hitching post.
What did you learn new today?
Dannelle!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I found it off of a blogfrog thread. This post was so funny "help them out..."
