Paul, our local Copp's Manager, said there will be THREE Saturday's in April that have DOUBLE DOUBLE days!!!

Woo-hoo!!!!!!!

I was less than enthused about the sales specials this week and only really saw two transactions, so it's nice to know that we could

    What Copps did you call?

    The ad that I rec'd in mail today didn't say that this Sat was Double Double Daze. :( I guess I'll call my fav Copps in Sun Prairie (the one on Hwy 19 & Hwy C) & see what the deal is...that is the closest Copps to me.

    In last Sunday's paper, on the back of the front section, was a full page ad that said 4/2 was a DOUBLE double day.
    =)

    The manager of the other Copp's in Sun Prairie (Main st and Hwy N) said it would be three weeks in a row when talked to yesterday.

    Oooh...three weeks in a row - that will be awesome!! Too bad there wasn't a ton in this week's ad - other than Kraft cheese.

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
