I hit one Walgreen's and got
Colgate $2.99 - $1 coupon for the the $3 RR deal three times and use $3 in RR for a total OOP of $3, but profit of $6!

These will go to the food pantry this weekend with the case of animal crackers!

That left me $9 in RR for Copp's today!

Transaction #1:
3 boxes of cat food @$2.49
Chips Ahoy Cookies @$2 (normally $2.99)
4 boxes Tornadoes @$2 (normally $2.49)
1# green beans @$.99/# (normally $1.48/#)
2# bag of carrots @$1.49 (normally $1.69)
1 gallon skim milk @$2.49

Coupons used:
Four $.75/1 Tornadoes (doubled), $1/1 cookies when you buy milk (doubled), three FREE cat food coupons, FREE milk coupon, $3 RR

Total $26.49 for $1.88 and that should finish the collection or Tornadoes for my hubby, in the freezer for a while, LOL! The cat food was added to the pile for the Humane Society

1# dried beans for soup @$1.49 (normally $1.99)
4 boxes Creamette Bow Tie Pasta @$.79 (normally $1.16)
6 pack of Musselman's Applesauce @$2.39 (still collecting UPCs)
1 Frosted Flakes@$2.99 (normally $3.59)
2 Mini Wheats** both boxes had the $5 coupon books in them!@$2.99 (normally $3.98)
Uncle Ben's brown ready rice @$1.75

3 Advil pocket packs @$.99 (normally $1.99)

two $1/1 mini wheats (doubled), $1 Frosted Flakes (doubled), $1 fruit WYB 2 Kellogg's (doubled), $1 Uncle Ben's (doubled), $.75 off beef WYB Uncle Ben's, two $.50 off meat WYB 2 Creamette, three $.50 Advil, $6 RR

Total $33.23 for $6.81 and I got back a coupon for FREE milk!

Grand total today $59.82 for $8.69 (85.5% savings)

    Hi Dannelle! I wasn't aware that Copps took Walgreen's RR. Do all of them in the Madison area accept them, or is it up to each store? (I usually shop in Sun Prairie). Also, if it is a $1 RR, will it double to $2 on double days? Thanks!

    Hi Liz!
    RR are a Manufacturer's Coupon (printed right on there) so yes, All Roundy's Stores take them
    ;)
    As they are a Manu coupon - a $1 SHOULD double ... I simply haven't had a $1 one to test it, I wll next week with the deal on the Carefree pantyliners from Wags!

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
