I know it doesn't seem like I had a plan -- it's been a long week between Bronchitis, Severe Weather and then, a killer Migraine that sent me into Urgent Care for a shot! I am SOOOO glad it's all behind me and I can make the most out of tomorrow's Double Double day, especially since I missed Wednesday!

 
I KNOW I will do 6 transactions, my rough calculations on from this cereal price list:

1 gallon of FREE milk (using a Free WYB4 GM cereal coupon)
1 package Nabisco Cookies @.79 (using the $1/1 WYB milk coupon)

Emerald Breakfast to go $1 ($1/1 Q)
Angel Soft TP $.79 (have a $1/1 any size)
1 24pk water @$1.98
10 bags for credit (after all - I am getting 36 boxes of cereal...)

  • The Pringles and TP are for the stockpile - I plan on the Multi Grain ones.
  • The Wonka bars are KILLER inside of brownies!!! 2 bars per box.
  • The water is for our emergency kit

    I'm a complete coupon newbie, what is the $6 back from? Are you saying you'll spend $40 and have $36 to spend another time?

    Qs = coupons (sorry, I got lazy and broke into "code".

    Heather, When you do the General Mills cereal deal: buy 6 boxes, they take off $9 inst6antly and then you can use coupons (that they will double). You get coupons that are for $3.50 off your next transaction that has milk in it and $2.50 for one with eggs - that makes $6.

    Thanks! I'm trying to see if I have any that will make the cereal cheap for when I drive up to Madison in the morning. So far, it looks like I just have a couple of online coupons since I'm just starting.

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
