I stayed pretty close to the plan, they DID throw me off with the Jif To Go (didn't have it), so I punted
:)

Transaction 1:
• 11 cans Manwich sauce (we will keep two, the rest are for the neighbors!) @$1.39 **My store had it for $1.19 which made it an even sweeter deal!
• 7 boxes Ronzoni pasta @$1.25 (normally $1.99 – which will count for the $25 minimum price)

We get $5 off instantly with the Megga Sale (Manwich), 7 $1/1 on the pasta (5 doubled) and $4 in Walgreen's RR (they don't say "ONLY at Walgreen's" on them).

Cost: $.89 and I got $5 back with the ConAgra deal (Manwich) – I am double dipping on the promotions! (saved $26.13)

Transaction 2:
• 9 Hunts Ketchup @$1.25
• 5 Chef Boyardee @$1.00 – I have switched the hubby to the wheat variety, it's a small step, but I will take it, LOL!
• 5 boxes Ronzoni pasta @$1.25 (normally $1.99 – which will count for the $25 minimum price) – donation item!
They too the $5 off instantly, I used the $5 from transaction 1,  $1/1 pasta coupons (5 double) B4G1 Chef Boyardee, 3 B2G1 Hunts Ketchup

Cost: $2.85, saved $30.06

Transaction 3:
• Gillette Shaving Foam – donation item! @$1.69
• 2 Ronzoni Pasta @$1.25
• 6 boxes Chex Cereal @$3.65– donation item!
• Grapes – for the trip @$2.19
• Apple Wedges – for the trip @ 2.99 - I don't usually buy precut apples, but wanted it easy for the car trip
• Small Jar Maraschino Cherries – for the dehydrator @$1.49
6 Glazed Croissants - a teat for vacay! $4.14
I used FREE Gillette, two $1/1 pasta coupons (doubled), three $1/2 chex coupons (doubled) and get $9 off instantly on the Chex, two $2 fresh produce WYB 3 GM cereals, $5 RR

Cost: $7.23 and I got $5.25 back in milk and egg vouchers (saved $33.19)

Transaction 4:
• Minute Rice Steamers @$ 1.99
• 6 Chex Cereals @$3.65– donation item!
• 1 Ronzoni Pasta @$1.25
• Pantene @$4.29
• 1 pack Spilt breasts @$99/#  $2.76  (was $8.06)
I used three $1/2 Chex coupons (doubled), $1/1 pasta coupon (doubled), $1/1 Minute Rice (doubled), FREE Pantene, $.25 store Q on the Pantene
Cost: $3.89 and I got $5.25 back in milk and egg vouchers (saved $34.57)

Transaction 5:
• 2 Cheerios @$3.65 donation item!
• Cocoa Puffs @$3.55– donation item!
• 2 Cookie Crisp Cereal @$3.79
• Wheaties @$3.59– donation item!
• Ore Ida Sweet Potato Fries @$3.25
• 1 pack split chicken breasts @$.99/# $2.79 (was $8.09)

I used the FREE Ore Ida, two $75/1 Cookie Crisp, $.75/1 Cocoa Puffs (will double), $.75/1 Wheaties (will double), $1/2 GM cereals (will double), $9 off instantly on the cereal

Cost $8.13 and I got back $5.25 in milk and egg vouchers

So, I got $172.41 for $22.99 and I got back $15.75
for a total of $7.24 out of pocket.

(I didn't add that $15.75 back in to figure out what I
saved % wise as it comes off the NEXT time I shop)

Total Savings 86.6%

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
