Menard's Crazy Deals Sale (9/16-18)

This is kind of like the Register Rewards at Walgreen's but you have to mail in the form to get your perks back...even though you can still roll them along. What is nice is the simple fact that these do NOT expire, so you can be patient and roll them over when you find the right deal.

    Danielle, Menards puts my fav laundry detergent on sale often. It's ERA in the 120oz size. In fact last week I bought a bunch of $1 off coupons from Ebay. I've always had to have ERA whatever the price. So I don't know what a good sale price is... when I should pounce! Do you have any feedback? Thanks so very much! ~Margaret

    Margaret, I just posted the ad for IGA this week - they have a GREAT deal on it, you will get it for under $3/50oz bottle after that $1/1 coupon!

Chili Dog Casserole

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
