My Story
In January of 2008, I found myself unemployed, new to a small town in Northern Wisconsin, fresh out of college and looking to begin my career as a police officer. After hosting a couple of parties, falling in love with the products and earning many for free I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. I was looking for an income and also an opportunity to meet new people. I began to earn money right away and was excited to share the PartyLite products.
I landed my dream job as a police officer in July of 2008 and continued to work my PartyLite business part time to earn extra income for my wedding the following May. As life went on over the next couple of years my career as a police officer had taken over my life; I worked 50-60 hours a week, barely saw my husband, and I wondered how we would ever have children a raise a family with this career. In late 2009 we found out that my husband would be losing his job due to state budget cuts and to my surprise he accepted a new position in Portage, Wisconsin. He moved two and a half hours away without me and (as newlyweds)
we lived apart for eight months until I was ready to leave my career. In June 2010 I realized this may be a blessing in disguise and in October of 2011 we welcomed a daughter to our family. I now am happily a stay-at-home mom and full-time candle lady.
