Don't freak out at the lack of produce - I hit Aldi last week and will be again on Monday or Tuesday for more fresh fruit. We are still good on grapefruit, apples and pears.

FAR from my best, but I was scoring the Capri Sun for someone else. We usually don't see them less than $2/10 pack and with the sale price of $1.99 and the coupon, they came to $1.50ish -- and normally run $2.75. Great Deal! It also takes $19.23 off my tape totals today. (9 Capri Sun w/sales tax)

    I stocked up from last week's double double days, along with easter leftovers. I didn't go shopping this week. I found the ad to be lacking in good deals!

    I hear you Tiffany -- less than stellar ad to follow. I wouldn't have probably gone if it weren't for the Capri Sun's to bump up my base totals, LOL!

I know this sounds strange -- and yummy at the same time, LOL You need to know the family history to "get it". We are part German, part English, part Irish and part Tennessee Hillbilly. Seriously. Did you ever see that black and white movie of Gary Cooper's called Sergeant York? Yes, my family comes from the Dyer/Yorks -- same family. Some of the "family recipes" are too far out there for even me to try... But this is a pot luck favorite. SUPER Easy and SUPER Easy to make healthier. We choose the middle of the road option, LOL You need:  1 package hot dog buns (8 ct) 1 package hot dogs 2 cups chili (or 1 can) 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese "fixins" That's it! You could do gluten free or whole grain wheat buns, turkey or tofu dogs, vegetarian chili, vegan or light cheese, you get the drift.
