Fitchburg Days - come celebrate Irish Heritage!
Thrilling carnival rides, a children's tent with tons of fun activities for kids of all ages and food by many local vendors. What more can you ask for? See info HERE

Visit the UW Geology Museum
1215 W. Dayton St., 262-2399, http://www.geologymuseum.org/ (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free.) —Besides its extensive mineral, rock and fossil collections behind glass, kids can touch rocks from a time when there were volcanoes in Wisconsin, see rocks and minerals that glow, and stand under huge mastodon tusks. Great for those like my daughter who want to be a Paleontologist!

Sunday (5/19)

Syttende Mai Parade of Stoughton
Did you know that Syttende Mai means Seventeen May in Norwegian? It marks the day that they took Independence from Denmark in the year 1814. (cool, huh?)

Go celebrate Norwegian Heritage and see an AMAZING parade!
With over 75 entries (See Here) you will have a lot of neat things to see! Tons of food stands (we love the roast corn)
and even a craft show...
the fun starts at noon, but the parade is on the main drag starting at 1:30
They even have a facebook page! (HERE) We always love watching for the children's costumes!
